Is a natural pool safe to swim in?
Yes. Natural pools use biological filtration — plants and beneficial microorganisms — to keep water clean and pathogen-free. The swim zone is separate from the planted regeneration zone, so you swim in clear, filtered water.
Will the water turn green?
Not with proper design. The regeneration zone outcompetes algae for nutrients, keeping the swim zone clear. We size the plant zone correctly for your pool volume and climate.
How much space does a natural pool need?
Typically the regeneration zone is 50–70% of the swim area. For compact sites, hybrid bio-filters reduce this to 20–30%. We assess your space and recommend the right system.
Can pools be built near the beach in Goa?
Yes, with the right engineering. Sandy soil and a high water table require hydrostatic relief valves, careful backfill and sometimes a partially raised shell. We check groundwater level on site before designing, and we use corrosion-resistant fittings for salt air.
When is the best time to build a pool in Goa?
October to May. We schedule resort and hotel renovations in the monsoon shoulder — May–June or September — so the pool is fully commissioned before the December peak season.
