Pune gives us something Mumbai rarely does: ground. Most projects here are excavated in-situ pools with real garden space around them, so the design conversation is about deck material, landscaping and lighting as much as about the shell.
The catch is basalt. Large parts of Pune sit on hard Deccan trap rock, and excavation cost varies enormously between a Baner plot with 2 m of soil and a Mulshi hillside where we hit rock at 600 mm. We do a trial pit before quoting so the excavation line in your estimate is real, not an allowance that balloons later.

Do I have to remove existing tiles before relining?
Usually no. Our reinforced PVC membrane bonds over sound existing tile or plaster, saving cost and time. We only remove tiles if the substrate is failing.
How long does a pool renovation take?
Most membrane re-lining projects are completed in 7–14 days. Larger waterproofing or structural repairs may take 3–5 weeks.

Is rock excavation a problem in Pune?
Often, yes — much of Pune sits on hard basalt. We dig a trial pit before quoting so rock breaking is priced accurately. Where rock is severe, a partially raised pool wall can be cheaper than deep excavation.
